Overview
Collisions are the first event in more than half of all serious boating accidents. Radar picks up land and weather. AIS only shows vessels broadcasting a signal. Neither one reliably spots a swimmer, a submerged container, a kayak, or a RIB running without lights at dusk. Watchkeeper fills that gap — continuously scanning ahead with 4K low-light optics and optional long-wave infrared thermal imaging, then alerting you the moment something needs your attention.
What Watchkeeper Detects — and What Radar and AIS Don't
The most dangerous hazards on the water are the ones conventional electronics can't see. Watchkeeper is specifically built around that gap.
Persons in the water and overboard: The only category radar and AIS both miss entirely. Watchkeeper detects persons in the water and alerts immediately — critical seconds in a man-overboard situation.
Unlit and non-AIS vessels: RIBs, tenders, kayaks, and fishing boats running without lights or transponders. These are the most common collision hazards at night, and neither radar nor AIS will flag them.
Floating debris and obstacles: Shipping containers, logs, lobster pot buoys, and other low-profile objects the eye and radar overlook — especially at planning speed.

How the SEA.AI Watchkeeper Works
Watchkeeper's AI processes each camera frame against a proprietary database of over 20 million annotated marine objects. When the system detects a potential hazard, it evaluates object size, distance, and bearing relative to your course — then fires an audible and visual alert to your helm with enough lead time to make a safe decision.
Alerts feed directly to your existing multifunction display — Garmin, Raymarine, B&G, Furuno, Navionics and others — via Ethernet. No extra screens. No new hardware to learn. For vessels with older MFDs, SEA.AI provides nine additional integration routes. The SEA.AI app on iOS and Android gives you a secondary display and full system control from any device onboard.

Installation
Watchkeeper mounts at the highest practical point on the vessel — flybridge, hardtop, or arch — for maximum forward field of view. Installation requires routing an Ethernet cable and power feed to the unit and integrating with your MFD. SEA.AI recommends installation by a qualified marine electronics technician. Installation kits are available in 10m, 30m, 35m, 45m, and 55m cable runs. Plan for a half to full day depending on your vessel's cable routing complexity.
FAQs
Does the SEA.AI Watchkeeper work with Garmin and Raymarine MFDs? Yes. Watchkeeper integrates with all major MFD brands via Ethernet. Garmin, Raymarine, B&G, and Furuno units with HTML5 support provide the best experience. For older displays, SEA.AI provides nine additional integration routes.
Can Watchkeeper detect a person overboard at night? Yes, on thermal-equipped models (Motor 320, 640, and 1280). Long-wave infrared cameras detect body heat even in total darkness. The Watchkeeper Lite is a daylight and twilight system only.
Does the system require a constant internet connection? No. All AI detection processing happens on-device. LTE connectivity is used for OTA software updates and remote diagnostics — not for real-time detection.

Returns
We want you to feel comfortable shopping with us, so we've made our return and refund process super easy to understand.
Return Time Frame: You can return things within 30 days after you buy them. But if it's been more than 30 days, we won't be able to accept the return.
Shipping Cost: If something is broken or not right with what you bought, we'll pay for the shipping to send it back. But if you're returning it just because you changed your mind, you'll need to pay for the shipping.
Defective or Broken Products: If what you got isn't working or is broken, tell us within 30 days. We'll help you send it back without extra charges. Once we get it and see the problem, we'll either give you a new one or your money back, including what you paid for shipping.
Change of Mind Returns: If you decide you don't want what you bought, you have 30 days to send it back. You'll need to pay for the shipping back to us, though. Just installed. Packaging was phenomenal. Best packing for any package I have ever received. Directions are perfect. Inventory of items was perfect. I installed on the truck rather than the floor then lifting it with four people. By installing it on the truck I needed a second person here and there. I only have one small complaint, but I still give this a 99.99% rating. The complaint might possibly be because I assembled it on the truck instead of the floor. I have a super small gap where the rear section meets the side section at the truck rail. Its pinhole size. I will probably dab it with sealant if it leaks. I will be going to the car wash and testing it out first, but it is so very small it may not even need the sealant. I'm talking literally a pinhole size. I wonder if I assembled on the floor first if it wouldn't even be there. Other than that, everything about this topper is PURE CLASS. Shipping time, packaging, instructions, quality of materials, assembly. I love this topper.

I just installed this for my jeep Gladiator I love the windows on the sides. Construction seems to be good quality. I bought it to keep dogs in but not sure the small windows will be enough air for them. Time will tell when it warms up. Back window door seems to not shut as good but that could be the way I got everything tightened up. Still shuts fine just have to push on the one side harder. Haven’t drove with it yet but I really like it so far. Time will tell on how it holds up.
Installed the OVS Expedition Cap on my 2025 Jeep Gladiator Willys. Install was a breeze with two people,no drilling required.It came with all hardware and two different clamping options and took about 2 hours total. I purchased the expedition truck cap for my 2025 Power Wagon, everything was exceptional from the way it was packed, the quality of materials, fitment and it looks great on my rig.
What can l say, it's super easy to put up and take down by yourself. It adds so much more to the awning it self. The windows are a big plus. Really looking forward to getting the other side when it comes out! The only hard part would be figuring out which side you have and maybe the best way to fold it.
Arrived yesterday. The quality is pretty good, thick material. Installation instructions were very straight forward. It took me an afternoon to put it all together. It is heavier compared to other competitors so you will need at least 4 people to get this on the bed. Overall, this is a great buy. Affordable and durable. Hopefully they come out with a harness for the third light soon!

Just got it in recently… the build quality is top notch, the materials are solid, and it looks awesome. I’ve received so many compliments from others. I cannot recommend this enough.
