We started this because we live this.
I'm an adventurer at heart. I travel. I explore. And I've spent years watching overlanders, campers, and explorers piece together their rigs searching across a dozen websites, juggling a hundred SKUs, trying to figure out which brands actually work together, which dealers have stock, and whether they'll stand behind what they sell.
So in May 2025, I started The Nomads Essentials to solve that problem.
The idea is simple: bring together the top brands people actually love, bundle them intelligently, and make it easy and affordable to kit out your adventure.
Whether you're a serious overlander building out a rig for expedition level travel, or a weekend camper who wants genuinely good gear without the guesswork, you shouldn't have to hunt across ten websites or settle for second-tier brands just to save money. Every brand on this site is one we're an authorized dealer for, which means we work directly with manufacturers, we honor their warranties, and we stand behind every sale we make.
