Overland Vehicle Systems Expedition Truck Cap With Full Wing Doors, Front Rear Windows & 3rd Brake Light

Installed the OVS Expedition Cap on my 2025 Jeep Gladiator Willys. Install was a breeze with two people,no drilling required.It came with all hardware and two different clamping options and took about 2 hours total. Packaging was excellent, and the build quality is rock solid with tight fitment and zero panel gaps. Using it for overlanding and gear storage. No cons so far—highly recommend.

I purchased the expedition truck cap for my 2025 Power Wagon, everything was exceptional from the way it was packed, the quality of materials, fitment and it looks great on my rig.

Arrived yesterday. The quality is pretty good, thick material. Installation instructions were very straight forward. It took me an afternoon to put it all together. It is heavier compared to other competitors so you will need at least 4 people to get this on the bed. Overall, this is a great buy. Affordable and durable. Hopefully they come out with a harness for the third light soon!

I spent weeks researching online. Considered many different options. Some, pretty similar in style to this one. But ultimately, I chose this one for the price, the warranty, and overall look and reading reviews. Just got it in recently… the build quality is top notch, the materials are solid, and it looks awesome. I’ve received so many compliments from others. I cannot recommend this enough. My wife and I are looking forward to getting a roof top tent for this and many other accessories for camping life. Don’t get me wrong, there are lots of great options out there, but this company, brand, and equipment has lived up to the hype and exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended!

I love this cap! The quality is top notch and the styling is great. Best choice from all the metal options available. Assembly is easy but it takes a strong crew to lift it onto the bed of the truck. Instead, I built a pulley/cable/chains system into the roof of my garage along with a cheap winch from HF. My only complaints are, a few missing washers which were easily replaced and, like some of the other reviews, the longgggg wait for accessories. Waited patiently for the molle panels which finally became available. Would love to buy the storage bins but they haven’t yet come available. Would also love a sliding “front” window to make a pass through to the cab but this doesn’t seem to be on the radar. Even without the accessories, I’m happy with my purchase.

Not cheap, but the build quality is excellent. Powder coat looks professional, seals are thick. Happy with the buy.

awesome build quality, and the detail t engineering is very good. did a lot of very smart design to make the assembly go smooth. hardware (typically a weak point) is very good. take your time - use antiseize, follow the instructions (also very good) and have some friends help place on the vehicle. couldn't be more happy. i would not but from recon - horrible customer service.

The truck cap is solid. I have been using it for 5 months now and love it. The versatility of the cross bars can take my rtt to my kayaks to my roof rack. Great product and I recommend it to anyone looking a quality top.

I ordered this cap when it was out of stock but still received it a week before the estimated in stock date. As is the norm for OVS the cap was packaged extremely well. There were a few severe hits to the outer box but not a scratch on the product. I had it all assembled in less then 2 hours and with the help of a few friends had it on my truck in no time. This cap is as solid as they come and extremely well sealed. If I ever get another rig this will be one of the first upgrades I do.

This truck cap is amazinggg! Wing doors are incredibly convenient for accessing gear from the sides. Fitment on my truck was perfect. Installation required two people but wasn't too difficult. Completely transforms the truck's utility. Weather sealing is excellent also, 10/10 really

I use my truck for construction, and the side access doors are life savers. Tools right there instead of crawling in the bed—what a difference!

2022 Jeep Gladiator Got this cap in combination with the HD Sidewinder RTT a few months ago. Unfortunately, haven't been able to mount the RTT due to the forever backorder of the Crossbars. Aside from that tho, this cap is awesome. Built quality is 2nd to none and assembly is pretty straightforward. I was short a few washers, but that was nothing a trip to Home Depot and $0.50 couldn't fix. The gullwing doors feel solid and are sealed extremely well. My only complaint is the lack of accessories/storage options. They've been advertising the storage cubies, slides, molle panels, and SIDE WINDOWS for a while now.Yet, those options just aren't for sale... I have a planned trip coming up in a couple of months, and I'd hate to have to resort to buying 3rd party stuff to manage my storage/mounting. Overall a fantastic Cap, but sadly, accessories are practically non existent.

I agree with that the product is very well made with great quality control. I also installed it solo by building it in place. Took my approx. 6 hours but to put that in perspective I'm a 69 year old guy and installed in my garage. I thought the instructions were very clear and explained the necessary steps and required tools. Great product and it was very well protected in the shipping packaging also.

Steel feels thick, hinges are smooth, powder coat hasn’t chipped. Only downside is the weight—you need help installing.

Overall I am very pleased with the product. The workmanship, fit, and finish are near perfect. It exceeded my expectations, and I am pretty picky. I installed solo, on the bed. Just clamped and taped things in place and had no problem. The instructions were pretty bad, especially the drawings, so I pretty much disregarded those. Shipping was about 3 weeks. Way longer than the website said, and the cross bars have yet to ship. Going on a month and am told they are another three weeks out. That's why the four stars. Also no slider on the front window. Big drawback for me. Good product though. I would buy again.

I received my Expedition Truck Cap last week. It was delivered with-in 7 days of ordering. I could not believe how well it was packaged for transport. The packaging protected the produce from any damage. I was able to start the assembly of the cap with my wife's help. I got inventive with installing it on my jeep by using two 700 lbs pulley systems to lift the front and back of the cap using the rafters in my garage. I upgraded the seal to a double seal prior to installation to make sure I didn't have any leaks. I also added 4 more single bolt clamps to make 5 clamps on each side. I don't want any leaks for warping of the cap or my bed rails. This cap is everything the company claims it is and installation is straight forward. The only thing that was left out of the installation instruction was that on a Jeep Gladiator, the front bed wall was 1/4" lower than the rest of the side rails or tailgate. This was not addressed in the instructions. I thought that maybe they required pulling the plastic bed rail caps off of the right-left and tail gate to make the bed even. This is NOT THE CASE! It is the users responsibility to raise the 1/4" gap (Jeep Gladiator) with what-ever means the user decides to use. I purchased 15 feet of 1/8" foam rubber to level the top of the front bed wall. It worked perfectly but I told the company they should address that SOME PICK UPS MIGHT NOT HAVE A PERFECTLY LEVEL BED RAILS. Other than that, 100% satisfied with the product and the company's customer support.

Love the wing doors on this cap. Makes loading gear so much easier than a standard tailgate setup.

Feels like it turned my pickup into a mini overlanding rig. Doors swing open smooth, latches feel secure. Only drawback—it’s heavy, took 3 guys to mount.

With the full wing doors, I can reach cooler, tools, everything in seconds. Feels solid, not flimsy like cheaper caps.
